Rural Roads

The project was carried out within the Productive Rural Roads Program (PCRP), executed by the Office of Planning and Budget (OPP). The general objective of the Productive Rural Roads Improvement Program is to strengthen the management of rural road infrastructure. The passability of the roads ensures access to education, health, services, and allows the articulation of markets and productive areas, improving living conditions, reducing transportation costs, and improving the profitability of productive activities. The Dica-EnginLabs consortium was selected to deliver the executive projects, ready for tendering, for the roads chosen by OPP for the Centro-Sur zone, in the departments of Flores and Florida.

Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link

In August 2020, EnginLabs began working from Uruguay on one of the largest infrastructure projects currently under development worldwide: "The Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link", the longest immersed tunnel ever built. It will connect Germany with Denmark and will be a key piece within the Scandinavian-Mediterranean corridor that connects the Nordic countries with the rest of Europe. EnginLabs is contracted by the consortium formed by Boskalis and Van Oord, companies responsible for dredging and earthworks. The work carried out by EnginLabs consists of the geometric design and 3D modeling of the infrastructure, as well as coordination and planning of the geometric design team with engineers from other areas and project managers based in Europe.

CREMAF Ruta 5

Within the CVU tender for the Public Works Contract for the design, construction, rehabilitation, maintenance, and financing of the road infrastructure of Ruta 5 between chainages 69K000 and 95K200, the Executive Project was developed for the components of Roadworks, Stormwater Drainage, and Signage and Barriers. EnginLabs was hired by the Lemiro Pablo Pietroboni - Berkes consortium, in charge of executing the works. The section of the project is located between chainage 69k000 and the junction with National Route No. 56 at the access to the city of Florida. The alignment passes through the towns of Mendoza and Mendoza Chico and connects with National Routes No. 76 and No. 12. The project duplicates Ruta 5 and includes two bridges along its route, four lower pedestrian passages, wildlife crossings, roundabouts, and returns.
