Late Ciudad Vieja

The project and our contribution

We delivered the executive road design for Reconquista Park for Late Ciudad Vieja, an urban intervention that seeks to gain green spaces and prioritize pedestrian and bicycle circulation.

The design incorporates raised pedestrian crossings to reduce vehicle speed, increasing pedestrian safety and comfort. A detailed 3D model of the project was developed and used for construction layout and identification of existing public services, such as modeling the Arteaga Network.

Late Ciudad Vieja was recognized with the Grand National Prize and first prize in "Public Spaces". Construction contractor: GRINOR S.A. Client: Montevideo City Government.
